Photogravures of an Exiting Neruda
....a niche in the pavement,
black hat head-spun southward
................onlooker
in glassy trill, the din of clock and
........springtime sprig snap
......or that of an existing wound--
......an intimate passerby:
........shadow musician
....accustomed to striking bow
........along alley corridors
......with hands & heart you
.......... greet him
.....expecting a great performance;
................a spectacle
......you’ve only once encountered
.......from a bird, dusky nightingale,
.........who sung mournfully
.....through the salty spray
.. of the sea.

Sent Foam

to 'Lifting Belly':
sound of bloodlines, perfect ratios,
you--machinery beyond us severed
windows to glyphs of fern crawling
along silky paunch
swallows up--slow and this
luminescence does graze, turn pearl,
except for washed away spume & stone
always enveloping, you
loved long silent metal skin alloy
skin so sidled into crevasses
earthenware, crackle
benude a gesture of ticking roots,
spastic, stretched against
waxy membrane, resinous &
perforated

Twine Galleries [An Excerpt]
[the bursting room]
I: with tensile placement, with hall billowing
Sunday laughter, parlay cockatiel mornings
...X between X between brief nickels
.........................& plaster
the girl with everything to hide places paintings
on the wall--ignore the cracks, dear, ignore
their irony: I am not old today--tomorrow begins
again the rigorous task of living
[methodology 1 ]
--begins with milk teeth, synthetic eye depositories
--counsel flesh to pliancy-- say skin does bend,
.............................obviously
--begin where filaments often collect
............[at the bottom of clouds]
--thin, we, to insist upon them curtailed doves

Sanguinary Fragments 2 (Transtextual Translation of the Iliad--Book 1)
ships_____ receive
..........hands
I for you Trojans
I for keeping her
[else-whither]
now seized dreams
deed girl without free
bolds displeasure O
ransom, violently lambs
burnt away hot prophet-s
hallowed assembly
flashed furious
_-resounding_-
sea quarrel, coral
[have toiled]
now entreating dreams:
_________I for keep
I for battle
“and seized the son
of Peleus by his yellow
hair…”
